Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 one day course.

Where a workplace first aid risk assessment identifies a need for an Emergency First Aider in the Workplace, This one-day accredited training qualification meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982. Course comprising a minimum of 6 hours of practical and theoretical training. All learners will have the skills and knowledge to provide the organisation with Emergency First Aider’s that can provide treatment to their, casualties in a prompt, safe and effective manner. Compliant with Health & Safety Executive code of Practice. Hands on training , lots of equipment.
Syllabus: A range of subjects are covered including:

• Assessment of the situation

• Bleeding

• First aid hygiene

• Shock

• Resuscitation and AED awareness

• Epilepsy

• Anatomy

• Minor injuries

• Choking

• Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
