Don’t Be Prey + Q&A at the Curzon Clevedon (UK)

On Saturday, 14 March, we are bringing Don’t Be Prey to the historic Curzon for a matinee screening and a live conversation with coach Tim Denyer and swimmer Mark Sowerby

For the community at Clevedon Marine Lake, the reality of marathon swimming isn’t found in the highlight reel, it’s found in the repetitive, often grueling months of preparation.

This Q&A focuses on the decade of training that supported Mark Sowerby’s Oceans Seven journey. We will move past the crossings themselves to discuss the invisible work: the technical drills, the cold-adaptation protocols, and the psychological discipline required to maintain a peak level of readiness for nine+ years.

Tim and Mark will discuss the mechanics of their partnership and how they built a training methodology that accounted for the physiological reality of the ocean. It is an invitation to the local swimming community to hear the unfiltered version of what it takes to prepare for the world’s most challenging ocean swims.
